What if the great Sugar Ray Leonard, the world's undisputed welterweight champion, in his prime, challenges the great Marvin Hagler's world middleweight crown in 1982?

This would be a true fight of two all-time greats in their primes going at it. Who wins if the fight was on that year?

Who would have been the favorite to win?

Hagler would have beaten him, no question!

Marvin thought he was going to face Leonard that year, 1982, but Ray dropped a bombshell at a Conference Hagler attended by retiring!

Not at all. I think Leonard won that fight clearly. I think in '82, it would have been a different story.

I think Hagler would have won easily in 1982. He was better in his prime than Leonard. By the way, I scored their fight 115-113 for Leonard.
