Should Mcintosh not be higher after winning the euro strap?

Solid list Horse.

Got to say though - not sure why Kell Brook is so high.

His best win is Jennings and yet we have British, Commonwealth and Euro champs below him.

You saw Smith's name as he has been kicked out! I presume its for inactivity even though Horse sometimes leaves Boxers in for a lot longer than the six months its been since Smith boxed.Smith is undefeated and holds a win over John Simpson in his last bout, enough said.

Horse's vendetta against the Smith family is laughable

I think Lee's record is better than McEwan's which is why Lee has managed to enter the rankings in the low positions and McEwan hasn't. McEwan is close to a place in the rankings, if he had beaten another of the type of opponents he was fighting then he would have probably entered.

Lee and McEwan fight each other this month, if McEwan wins then he will be very likely to enter the rankings next month.

Would probably be my top 15, very similar.
The only major difference is the inclusion of DeGale in the top 15. Good list. :TU:

I agree he's not really up there in terms of the level he's fighting at, but his talent gave him a few places. Just depends how you balance the criteria you use really.

Why would beating a 29th place Lee be worthy of inclusion but not a 15th place Simpson? :witzend:

The European title seems to have been devalued in recent times. I used to try to give a new European champion a top 20 place in the rankings, but I no longer give European champions such an automatically high ranking.

McIntosh has beaten some decent fighters like Karl, Oakey, Barney & Spartacus. However he beat Oakey, Barney & Spartacus when they were coming towards the end of their careers, and he was behind against Karl and looking a bit rubbish before knocking him out, so I didn't think he deserved to enter the rankings too highly.

McIntyre is arguably his best win, but that was in November 2008.

I think Brook is a bit too high in my rankings, if he doesn't get a good win soon then he will be falling down the rankings fairly rapidly as there are a lot of good fighters below him in the rankings.

Karl wasn't the reigning champion and I don't think Karl can really be considered to be much better than domestic class.

I aint quite sure what a split decision win over Jamie Arthur, who wasn't in your 30 (and I'm assuming not that close to being in your 30) - warrants an 8 place jump for Booth.

The boxers that stay in a lot longer than 6 months are those that have achieved a fair bit, so they have high rankings. Smith never had a very high ranking, so he fell out of the rankings after only 5 months of inactivity.
