Me too; I know that it is a business but they are supposed to be very close. What a strange way to make a living. :x

I thought that Paul Cook (Nickys' dad and trainer) was with Kevin and Vinnys' mum, pretty much stepdad and a positive influence and provider for them. It'd be mad for all involved surely if they were to box?

I've defo read that aswell a few times. I think if Mitchell is focussed he is better than cook. However our boys at that weight range such as Arthur, Cook, Mitchell and Foster jnr always seem to lose focus, either in camp, during the bigger fights or both. Alhough all are very good on their night they all have the nearly man aura.

I hope Murray doesn't fall to the same hurdles and that Mitchell gets his act together and wins some meaningful fights.

There's nothing seedy about it, been together for years. Paul Cook knows his stuff, I imagine he'd be wrecked if Nicky and Paul were to box, (but if the money were right he'd probably rather them box than struggle).

I also read the other day on here that Cooky was enjoying the time out and the sun,sea and sangria :OhYes:

Still would love to see it happen, at York Hall. :TU:

When I was in Ireland for Dunne vs. Wilders (or Kenna vs. Simpkin!) I stayed in a B&B with an old trainer from London who was over with a amateur squad from London who said that Cook and Mitchells Mum split in the not too friendly way and the Mitchell brothers were trying to start trouble and fights with the Cook family.

Don't know how true that was.

I heard they split up when Kev went to Jimmy Tibbs.

They had it all out in the Queen Vic one night.
