Francisco "Panchito" Bojado faces a man long linked to Ricky Hatton, the experienced Jesse James Leija, on the undercard to the vacant WBC light-welterweight title clash between Arturo Gatti and Gianluca Branco in Atlantic City on January 24.

Is there much point him fighting Leija now? Leija really isn't known for much other than quitting when the going gets rough, or getting cut to pieces.

The relative brevity of Bojado's career illusrates the faith his backers have in him. Not only has he had few pro fights, but he is young too.

FW - its time Hatton was let off the leash. No more marking time fights.

Im looking forward to seeing the Gatti fight to see how he looks against anyone else but Ward since training with McGirt....

I would love to see Gatti vs Hatton though...

Well, if Ricky does a Joe Calzaghe and goes back to fighting handpicked opponents in defence of his 'world' title, it could still happen. allegedly has already stated he wants Ricky to continue fighting at home. That doesn't augur well for fights with the likes of Tszyu, Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell, and other big names I've heard banded around for Ricky. I mean, can you see Tszyu or Gatti coming here?

LETS NOT GET OVER-CONFIDENT ABOUT HATTON JUST YET!

There are 10 boxers that would all beat Hatton at the moment so he's still got alot of work to do before he can claim to be amongst the World's Best!

Untill he beats a genuine World class boxer in form, I won't fully be convinced!

Heres the 10 that we beat him!

1) Kosta zoo
2) Shamba Mitchell
3) Zab Judah
4) Vivian Harris
5) Migual Cotto
6) Arturo Gatti
7) Otkey Urkal
8 Kelson Pinto
9) David Diaz
10) Mohamad Abdulaev

Brave move for Bojado as it's relatively early in his 'comeback' and while he's beaten his former conquerer, Jesse James is definitely stepping up a league. Still, if he wants to be considered in the same league as Cotto this is the fight he has to take.

IMO, Bojado will never be in the same class as Cotto. He's something else.
