John McDermott.

Got to say I think he's great. Proper old school fighter, very tough. I always enjoy watching McDermott fight. He comes across as a very nice down to earth bloke. When he boxed Larry Olubamiwo (his last fight, KO 1 round), I thought he was gona get a real tanning, but John smashed him like I smash my bird afther watching porn. John should in my eyes have a victory over Tyson Fury and Danny Williams. He's been on the wrong end of some ropey decisions. Even if the judges are against him, I hope he sticks around for another 5 years.

he won't stick around for another 5 years as he has no dedication to the sport - he may be fitter than the average fatty but he has a quirk for eating cakes rather than doing hard graft.

& don't lie Eddy you probably don't have a bird to smash either - could probably replace the word "bird" with "monkey"

This is another good fight if it happens - both Maloney's fighters so it should be easy enough to make, but personally, I'd wouldn't be putting Price in with McDermott just yet.

There are different body types; John McDermott will never be a body beautiful but he is strong enough to go 12 rounds with a 22 year old, knock out a massively strong body builder and be in the mix at British title level for the last so many years (I bet all of us have smaller waist lines than John but could do none of those things. Boxing is not a body beautiful contest. The man works hard, is very good and is afraid of no one; what's not to like?

It was a 10 rounder - English title. But he can go 12 no problems. He was hard done by in both his Danny Williams fights.

I was there for the first one and thought Danny won but any other heavyweight would have been stopped when Danny was in dire trouble.

Didn't watch the return.

The first Fury fight was the worst boxing decision I've ever seen. The ref must have been tripping.

Maybe we'll see a trilogy soon? McDermott v Fury III or maybe even McDermott v Williams III? Or DPW, or whatever he's calling himself.

Maybe not for purists, but McDermott v Audrey is a good fight for me - we'd find out if Audrey's bollocks have grown back if nothing else.
