I know what your Saying but Jamie cant keep training so hard for 12 round fights it would take to much out of him, being Euro Champ and getting out 4 times a year is enough... Maybe Hall around June time, an easy fight to make and an exciting fight to watch :box:

Is not just the fight's that these guy have to put their body through if they do it right there the 8 week's hard training and dieting that go before the fight. Plus there not as many dates around as there use tobe for promoter's to work all of us after the same dates.

Surely you'd have to be concerned about how open Jamie was in his last fight? He was wobbled massively in one of the early rounds and wobbled twice more and Jamoye walked through whatever he threw to land hooks.

Jamie got caught with a good shot in 2nd which dipped his legs a bit but he shown wat a good chin he as got and came back well against a world ranked opponent, look at Jamoyes statistics then compare them with the british fighters, different level and no comparison

Stats can be misleading. I've seen a few of his fights, he's above British level but isn't a puncher - A lot of the guys he was facing either have won about 3 fights between them or were ridiculously inexperienced. Hall probably punches harder, and you can't just write someone off because they're British level. Hall would give McDonnell a hard fight.

Course we was concerned everything we worked on in the gym went out the window Jamie. Got himself dragged into a fight rather than sticking to his boxing but let's not forget he was in with a real tough kid who was world ranked by the WBC. Jamie damaged his left hand in the 3rd round that's why he neglected his jab and was paw ring it out. It's still not right now and can't punch at the minute in gym. Jamie was wobbled once in the second but recovered well when less men would have gone down. The kid is only 24 and showing real improvement. IF THE HALL FIGHT happened it would be a real hard fight as I rate him as a fighter and he seems a gentleman. I was just stating in my opinion I think Jamie would stop him with body shots late on. I think hall is very dangerous for the first half of the fight then he seems to tier( just my opinion) Jamie is at his best second half of the fight and punches a lot harder than you think he drops a lot bigger men in sparring.
It would make a great fight as both these guys don't do slagging off they do there fighting in the ring(were it counts) Jamie is now ranked 8th by the wbc at the minute we don't know where we are gun a go regarding direction but we wish Hall all the best in his forth coming defence :TU:

I don't doubt he hurt his hand, but he wasn't jabbing from the 1st bell? I was ringside, he let Jamoye in from the start and let him in close and away with the hooks, which is what he does best.

may b jamie just is to big for the weight as i know when you struggle with the weight you cant shake the shots off easy may he could b a two weight british champ now that in an honour but like i say good luck to the guy wouldnt call world class opponts out just yet :box: :TU:

Yeah, I'm not in any way being disrespectful but I think talk of world title shots and WBC rankings (deserved or not) is all a bit premature. Presumably if he keeps defending the Commonwealth or EBU belt you'll hope that Donaire vacates?

halls a good fighter and is a good british champ but i cant see him beating jamie be a good fight though jamoye is a very dangerous oppenent and needs more credit than he gets..in my eyes if jamie does end up fighting hall i believe jamie wins this fight by a ud or late stoppage hall hasn't fought no one with jamies work rate the kid is non stop throwing

thats what im saying Jamie let everything go out the window regarding what we work on in the gym and got himself dragged into a fight with a reall tough opponent... it was a big occasion for jamie it was on home soil he had sold 600 tickets didnt stick to the game plan and just got stuck in along with the crowd. i was still proud of his performance he shown reall grit and that he can dig deep and come back strong from a bad start. we havent stated anywere that he wants a world title as yet hes learning all the time and thats what were aiming towards, cheers
