10. Missed the ref, sparring partner and the WBA champ. Annoyingly read the name of the sparring partner in Hugh McIlvanney's book only yesterday. Still couldn't tell you it now. Thanks for posting.

He was shit hot fair do's....... Missed on the Sparring Partner, Referee and the venue (probably would have stabbed at the correct answer on the latter but the guy said it so early).

I'm guessing they won't be much higher than the ones you've got already.

Having said that, you either know the answers or you don't. I got through four rounds and screwed up in the final. It was called Sports Anorak of the Year and was hosted by Rory McGrath.

A pocket television. Lost to a West Ham fan whose specialist subject was England soccer internationals from 1970 (top bloke, as it happened).

Boxing is not a bad sport for quizzes.

I was on Sports Mastermind with Dickie Davies. My specialist subject was Boxing and they gave me Mexican boxers. Did okay.
