He looked shocking in there tonight. Lost the fight on my card, even though the ref had it 39-39, I had it 39-37 to the other guy.
I heard he had to lose a ton of weight in the last 48 hours.
I was banjod by the end of the first and tried to waltz for the final two round.
Shocking stuff to be honest.
On the plus side, his brother debuted, very entertaining.

I feel sorry for Quigley he is a good fighter and could make some waves at middle just needs to get fit and active again.
A 4 rounder isnt really enough to get rid of the ring rust and obviously he has been through a lot through injuries etc maybe this will get him back on track god luck to the lad

Terry seems to think that he is still in Prizefighter. I have no reason to doubt that, but think the decision should be reconsidered - if not by Team Quigley but by Matchroom.
The weights were never read out but I understand that he was still just over the 12' 12' limited that he said would achieve and that was after losing best part of a stone in the day before the fight.
I dont want to use the word freakshow but Prizefighter need to be careful here.

Officially, he did what he he had to do to get in there. On the basis of the performance, I wouldn't be surprised if there are developments in the next day or two.
Pros: Ticket seller, former title holder and local name. Cons: His balance looked off, he really struggled to land his own shots and should have lost it by a point.
Well to be fair he didnt Terry - he said he would make 12' 12' - he didnt. And they omitted the read out his weight prior to the fight! Intentional?
He also lost the fight in my opinion - did the guy have to pull out a shotgun to get the win?
This isnt healthy for Quigley, boxing or the PF format - in my personal opinion.

I was told that the result means he can still enter the tourney. Mike Holden was floored and netted a draw in his warm up and was pulled so fingers crossed the same applies to this one once the dust settles. Hoping to grab confirmation later today so will place it in the sticky ASAP.
Thanks for that, I never heard it.
Sound system is poor in that venue. Not a venue I like despite its 'handiness', its an atmosphere vacuum. I suppose you could moonwalk to it Tel without getting a cramp in your calf.
I heard the result as 39-39 as well. Bloody echo and reverb in there.

That Wasn,t The Tony Quigley I know. Awful Fight. Reckon He Got The Draw Cause 1st Round Knockdown Was Probably 10-9. Think He Won 2nd. Last Two Rounds They Where Terrible. They Where Hugging And Holding. It Had Me Heading For A Beer.  Think It Will Be tough To Turn It Round In 10 Days. U Never Know.

Think Dilks' price will have reduced markedly since the Reid and Quigley fights!
