It was a great show at wigan and great Top of the bill as well as some good scraps on the undercard such as Ben lawler and chris johnson!!! Hopefully see alot more of the 2 promoters working together as Ste has worked hard for many years doing small hall shows to keep building his fighters and keeping them busy Well done Ste keep up the hard work!!

Maybe these are the way forward.It was more or less a Steve Wood show with a FW fighter defending his title for T.V topping the bill.It was a similar arrangement in Huddersfield the other week.In fact,there were posters around the venue advertising the original line up,all local lads,they must have just added Sykes-Johannesson and Groves for Sky's benefit at late notice.It probably suits everyone better,the big promoters get a bigger paying audience and less hassle and the smaller promoter more coverage and a bit of cash.

I've said it from day one, steve Wood is a good honest fella and a good manager for his lads, I hope does well in the game ;)

I think thats a great idea

Frank did similar with the First Team boys in Wolverhampton a couple of years ago, with a Don Broadhurst commonwealth defence (was originally meant to be Kell Brook Vs Young Mutley) with the rest of the undercard given to the local prospects, gave them a chance to appear on a sky show, seems a good idea imo.

Seen some top class nights of boxing at Wigan thanks to Steve and the VIP team.

Will have to get to a few more in 2011, been too long.

Steves been posting on the boxing forums for years. Hope things are going well for him and they continue to do so
