Oldhams Mark Heffron won on Saturday night with a 3rd round ko over Spains David Pulido on the Casey V Rigondeux u/card.

Miguel boxed well and had his opponent down at the end of rd 2 .

He picked his shots well and showed great composure in finishing his opponent 1 min 11 sec into rd 3 . Mark Moves on to 5-0 .

Good stuff! Both the Heffron brothers seem to be doing very well. Excellent amateur pedigree and the future looks bright for them.

I read that last year. Its something to do with Heffrons Grand parents being Irish, so he applied to the Irish board for a license, now he can get a license from the BBBoC. Its somerhing along those lines.
