The WBC hardly covered themselves in glory again at their headquarters in Mexico City last Friday as purse bids were opened for the much-awaited rematch between Michael Brodie and Injin Chi for the vacant WBC featherweight title. Barry Hearn's bid bettered the Korean bid by just £1,100 - but before the Brodie camp could celebrate, the Koreans put in an objection.
They appealed to WBC president Jose Sulaiman, saying that, because tax is lower in their country, their bid was the more attractive of the two - and the WBC president agreed!
Hearn immediately threatened the WBC with a writ and Sulaiman begrudgingly backed off, decrying the English "trait" of suing and praising the Koreans for "sportingly" withdrawing their own bid to save his organisation trouble.
Does it ever end.

Is it the follow up to 'Carry on Counting' which was released after bell ended after the first fight? It had a shocking and crappy ending and went on too long and like a lot of Carry On films, wasn't funny at all.

they really r starting to lose all credibility with me they just seem to get away with blue murder at times.

that farce is manchester was beyond a joke they withdrew the decision so they could check the scores properly and yet they still announced an incorrect verdict :x that bloke from the sport should have clocked jose sulaiman when he had the chance
