Andrei Isaeu: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

It seems like a decent comeback fight for Munroe.

Is it definitely Munroe who is facing this opponent? Boxrec have Quigg vs. Isaeu listed for the same date and title.

I think Quigg has pulled out with an injury.

easy fight to make with quigg pulling out.

i know people are complaining this is bad value for £14.99, but either pay up or look for other means. This is how Boxing is now in the UK, Khan is a big name and Sky think he's PPV, they think they can do whatever they want and that's what they do.

True Murray and Munroe fighting against weak opponents isnt the best, but they are 12 rounders and Watson v Purdy will be a good scrap guaranteed.

I don't know either party, but Maloney's reaction came across as completely genuine - by contrast this statement has taken quite a while to come out. I know who I believe based on what I've seen to date.

I will not judge either way as you will find there are three sides to every story

The one persons account of what happened
The second persons account of what happened

And

The truth

What was Maloney's reaction?

If memory serves me well, Isaeu gave Kevin Mitchell a very good fight, and i thought he was unlucky to get stopped on cuts.

You are right and we know the truth, Still up to now i do not believe Munroe has still not pick up a phone and spoke with Frank Maloney. This is the truth Maloney has giving back all Shinefields fighters that work on Maloney's shows, Telling them to take them to the Hattons so let see what happen to those fighter and the shinefields when Munroe loses and Hatton's have no use for him.

I can understand Franks frustration, but isn't that taking his annoyance out on boxers that have nothing to do with the situation?

Isaeu beats munroe as long as hes makes the weight right (which is half the battle for most fighters anyway) stops munroe late on!

You might be right but i know Frank told Mike Shinefield how do we know you would not do this with the other fighters we have be building up and working with so you do not get the chance let call are working deals over with everyone and you can go your own way. Those boxers are under management to Shinefield as is Munroe.

Really? What about the crap way fighters get treated by Promoters? I think it good that a fighter has decided and done what he feels is best for him, after all, they are the ones who put in the hard work and take the punches along with the risks. I'm sure Maloney as other promoters have tucked up fighters along the way.

With the greatest of respect you're missing the point here. It's not that Munroe has opted for an alternative career path, it's how he's done it.

Well, what goes around comes around sometimes. The business side of boxing is more of a dog eat dog world which has mainly been made that way by the promoters/managers of the sport. You wont find a promoter or manager doing anything for a fighter without personal gain for themselves and thats all well and good but so should it be all well and good if a fighter does something for themselves for personal gain then. I'm sure Maloney made a bit of the back of Munroe. No 'favours' are done in this sport.

And I'm not disputing any of that for a second, but Munroe actually calling Frank to let him know would have been the right thing to do and doesn't change any of what you've said.

How comes the promoters and managers all ways get the bad press No boxer helped me after i went under trying to build a stable of boxers and lost everything and i am not the only one to go this way. Yes there are some bad guys in the boxing world. But there are some who do care about their boxers and give more back them they take out and into days market there not many promoters making much money these days.
