Peculiar given he was so prominent at ringside on saturday night.
If he is looking elsewhere as he's frustrated by his lack of progress then fair play to him - would be a real shame to see his potential go to waste. Cue the dismissive rant from everyones favourite fish-based promoter in this saturdays Sun. I can see him joining Hatton - could make a few decent 147lb scraps in house.

Really surprised Brook's leaving Warren! He's on the cusp of a World Title fight!

He's 'only' mandatory for Manny's WBO one. He could hang around ages waiting for that shot.
Get with someone who can position him with IBF or WBA. He'd be in with a shout against either of those belt holders.

3 choices for him really Hatton, Maloney or Hayemaker. To me i think he will join Hatton however could do a job with Hayemaker? Get chief support on any Haye fights could be very good publicity for him

But you're forgetting the unofficial Sports Network Motto "Why fight a live opponent when, if you wait long enough, a vacant belt will come along and an easy pay day will be had by all. On PPV". Probably.
He's been mandatory for Pacs belt but there is less than zero chance of him fighting Pac if the fight was mandated.

I couldnt see him joining anyone else but the Hattons, bit of a Shock i think tho him leaving Mr W...plenty of welterweights under Hatton, but i thought Brook didnt want to fight at that level anymore....by the way he will NEVER win a world title in my eyes....

Hattons for me is the right move, his Golden Boy connections shoul dbe enough to get him US exposure and a title shot as well. If it happens another big coupe for them after Munroe.

Hattons with 6 sky shows a year. With Matthew Hatton at same weight dont think that be a good move!

like's been said already I'm really surprised he's not signed a new deal with warren as he was ringside for the murray fight?
hattons are the upcoming promotions and have his gym mate rhodes so could easily sign for them. coldwell has connections but he wont sign for hayemaker no doubt.
brook needs to sign with ricky in my opinion, i think the reason he wants to leave is he's tired of not been the big name on the bill, like his last fight when he was first on tv against an useless ghanaian, career stalled in recent fights.

hopefully he will sign for somebody that will put him in with a live body.
Hayemaker might not be a bad shout in terms of how they could build him, he is generally exciting all beit against less than stellar opposition....
Explains why FW has given him such shoddy matches lately. Don't pay for anything that wont pay you back.

he'll either resign with frank or he'll try and get a deal with top rank or golden boy

By the size of him on Saturday, he will need 3 months to get him down to welterweight.

If Kell stay with Warren, he will:
- Fight and win a world title against someone who should not be anywhere near fighting for a belt.
- He will make some money (although Warren will make more).
- He defend against fairly low key, average opponents at the MEN or something, maximising the revenue.
- He actually wont improve as a fighter, despite his relative young age.
- He will reign until one of theses 'low key' opponents turns out to be decent and beats him.
He should really head for GBP or Hatton's (with their connections to GBP). Kell has potential but what it comes down to is whether he wants to fight, improve and have a career he can look back on with pride (the money will come).
Or happy to take some decent purses now, low risk and stagnate, as a fighter.

I cant see the logic in signing for anyone other than FW.Is Hatton actually capable of getting him any fights that are better than what he has had other than hoping Golden boy throw him in with Berto or someone? How are things behind the scenes with Brook and FW? It cant help all the trouble Ryan Rhodes had or the fact he was trained by Dave Coldwell.

I can understand Brooks frustration at his lack of outings especially if he's got nothing in the pipeline, but I don't think there's a better man than Allegedly to promote Kell.
Bring on Mike Jones ASAP, Kell should be prepared to travel if necc

That's what he should do. I am sick of seeing good fighters waste away in the UK. It's sink or swim time for brook, he seems to be fairly well touted overseas so should get a decent deal. The main thing is he stays active and spars good quality fighters or he ain't going nowhere.

Exactly, these fighters do waste away fighting on these big british bills. The fights are invariably 80/20 or 90/10 and actually do nothing for the fighters development and skill set.
Occassionally, we will get some decent match ups but that is far and away the exception, rather than the rule. Best they move to the US or something, to actually learn how to improve. you used to have ppl like Duff, who actually knew boxing and could improve fighters, so it was not a problem.
The guys around today, promoters/managers, really dont have a clue as it is now just short sighted visions and making a few quick quid before a cash cow cashes out.

I prefer Craig Watson over Kell Brook myself.
He's got the better record too.
Kell has a lot to prove.

Especially if you ignore his 3 losses.
