Rickys done IMO, but we all know Rickys world revolves around money, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him wheel himself out for this one

Ricky was a fine champion, and is only 32. Had less hard fights than the likes of Pacquiao who is around the same age. He was put on the spot and said he would like to fight the champion if he did come back - but stressed before its unlikely.

Lewis for years after the Klitchsko fight hinted if he would comeback it would be against the best - was he delusional? I would think it would be a crazy man of someone of Lewis' stature to go.... well Wayne Llewellyn is on a decent run - I want to fight him. Similarly, it would be crazy if someone of Ricky's skills and stature to say "no I don't want to fight the champion - someone like Scott Lawton would do nicely"!!!

Being perfectly sensible.... sure he is having some issues in letting it go - thats what I think got him in the mess he was in. It was only just over a year ago - he had announced a comeback for the summer 2010. I think the questions and the concerns will be there, possibly years down the line. I can see him saying "I'm only 38 - there are older champions".

If Hatton does return, I think he would need a tune up and I hope he would gauge his performance accurately before considering if he should continue. What Morales is doing now is dellusional! However, I think Khan vs Hatton will be the biggest fight in British boxing history and part of me thinks its a crying shame it won't happen (but at the same time, kind of glad it doesn't).

Hatton is done, he's completely spent... If he comes back to the ring to fight Kahn, then "The King" will be too fleet-footed for him.

Of course, ift aht fight happened 3 years ago, "The Hitman" would have KO'd him.

all promotional companies loose money to start with thats why calzaghe gave up. Once his fighters are elivated to world class positions then he will be raking it in.

All your fighters being elevated to world class positions is hardly guaranteed. The Calzaghe's didn't manage it even with 2 already world class fighters

His chin's been gone since Lazcano, and he'd need it to get past anyone at world level now. I don't want to see it and I don't think, truly, that he wants to go through with it.

I think his chin has been gone since the KT fight.

To some degree you may be right. What he went through to win that night took a lot of punch resistance out of him forever. He'd been hurt by Magee and Phillips before but had recovered very quickly; neither of them landed anywhere near the amount of power on Hatton that Tszyu did. Although weakened, his chin did hold up long enough for what was a very good run at world level, but I don't think he'd have been getting badly hurt by the likes of Urango, Collazo and Lazcano without the KT fight. On the other hand, the KT fight was what got him to that level in the first place..

only because khan 3 years ago wernt who he is now, a prime khan v a prime hatton would of been a good fight but id choose khan all day long !
