one thing i havent seen on this forum is a footy thread weather is NRL or AFL. so everybody post the team/s that they go for, maybe nexy season we can do a tipping comp or something?
i go for South sydney ain league and Collingwood in the AFL. traditionly ive been more of a league fan, but when souths got kicked out back in 99 i started watching AFL and realised its nit a bad game, so now when souths get the wooden spoon its not so bad cos the pies win a grand final

Collingwood here

Don't follow the rugby much
How do you guys reckon Hunt and Falau will go in the AFL? They did ok in the practice games although the real stuff is a totally different kettle of fish. I don't think they'll make it and will go back to what they're best at

They're still young so a switch back could be on the cards, can't blame them for taking the cash. No idea how they'll go as I don't know anything about the game.

i didnt see the suns game or the giants practice game either, but from most accounts they looked lost. Cant really expect much more from them, at least yet. I think it may backfire on the afl. Got Carlton on Friday night, they played well last week...

The new teams are boys against men although they should be right in a few years. The AFL will make sure of it. The rugby boys will never get to the required level. The AFL and their ridiculous experiments / marketing shot themselves in the foot. If rugby poached a couple of our guys they'd be going nuts

media monitors did a study on Hunt when he defected, the media coverage he generated in the first week covered the value of his entire contract. I'd say they knew what they were doing.

The Melbourne Rebels are where it's at for me, I am starting to get into this rugby union game and quite like the Super Rugby.

Oi! There's nothing wrong with Sir Henry Bolte's designed penthouses, albeit 20 levels of them

Cheeky bugger :x
As a youngster I'd regularly go to Collingwood's home games on the train. Everyone was civilised on the way down but after the game there'd be massive fights on the station. Then when the train pulled in everyone would stop fighting, get on the train, then continue their fights

You see im a Melbourne supporter and for the last 10 or more years we have been down the bottom when Collingwood have been up the top so im just jelous I think. Anyway Collingwood supporter or not you cant be to bad if you a boxing fan. Again sorry.
