I hope Khan gets KO'd by McCloskey

Over this past week i have come to realise that all Khan cares about is himself and money. He talks about wanting to give back to fans in Britain because he hasn't been here for a long time and instead he effectively stops us from watching it by putting it on Primetime seriously? Do Khan's managers really think this will benefit him by moving to Primetime? Now i for one don't think that sky will televise Amir's next few fights after this and tbh i hope they don't either and go and teach him a lesson. If i was McCloskey i would be extremely pi***d off with him, he has basically lost him over 100k but is McCloskey moaning and throwing his toys out the pram no he is just focusing on the job in hand, Khan on the other hand is just doing the opposite and it just makes you hard to like him.

Now i know that Khan will win this fight and probably pretty comfortably, but i hope that if any fighter gets KO'd it is Khan in this fight because he has just treated boxing fans and McCloskey with no respect or decentsy whatsoever!! McCloskey :bag: :bag: :bag: up Khan please!!

The fight is not going to be on Box Office and due to that it will take 1.5 million of Kahn.

Sod off, I'd be hacked off if 1.25mill payday all of a sudden goes down to £250k!

I expect Khan will probably KO McLoskey early before Paul gets into the fight - Amir is dangerous early on

Either way Khan number one thing is to look after himself/family and if makes a decision which some boxing fans dont like then so be it. Of course he cares more about himself and money than fans who he doesn't personally know, wouldn't you? And these are fans who would most probably snigger if he got beat by McCloskey, just as thoughs who did after his defeat by Prescott. So no, I dont blame him for doing what he feels is best for him over many who ridiculed him. He's come back from defeat, re grouped and worked hard. Its his career, he's not working for charity

Excellent points, and maybe Khan going off to Prime Time was understandable for the reasons you did. But, at the same time, he's fighting somebody so unworthy of a title shot that even Sky don't want it on pay-per-view. The same Sky that thought Haye vs Harrison was a pay-per-view quality fight.

It still makes Khan hard to like, when you think about it.

I agree, but in a recession I think £250k is a bloody good payday for a nights work and a couple of months of training.

x2

If he was worth that amount of cash people would pay to watch him on PPV.

It's not worth it, so we don't
