does anybody know whatever happened to ray hood ? he was a light-welterweight from queensferry,north wales. fought kevin pritchard,the late najib daho and i think his last fight was against jason rowland in york hall,i use to watch him fight in the early 80s,he was a good fighter and i havent seen him for years,he was one of the first boxers i have ever seen covered in tatoos !! be good to know what hes up to these days.

yea he worked at one of the big airports down south,he was a great character and is sorely missed,i have many fond memories of his fights at the deeside leisure centre.on a lighter note theres a good local lad called tom doran fighting at the d.l.c. on friday 20th may.

Daho died in a car crash in Morocco, years ago?

His stoppage loss to Ian McLeod, a man who beat McGuigan as an amateur, is misleading because Ray suffered a broken jaw and had no option but to retire on his stool.

Remember it at the time. McLeod was British title level, just a level above Ray.
