Danny Watts/Hayemaker split, what's the story morning glory?

by Chambers2
Last night on Ringside Sir Ed Robinson announced that Danny Watts was no longer working with team Hayemaker and that he'd gone back to his old day job (as a roofer or somat). Danny has been Hayes right hand man for the past few years
Anyone know the reason for the split?
Has Spudly ousted him as part of his plan to takeover the World? Mwahahaha

Is he the massive bald headed geezer?
Maybe it's part of the fall-out from the alleged affair that was reported earlier this week?

that was my first reaction too - instability like this, with rumours of his wife leaving him and now his right hand mate being jettisoned too, cannot help his prep for the Klitschko fight.

Danny Watts is a former ABA Super-HEavyweight champion. He did however get Ko'd by Danny Williams in 32 seconds in the amateurs if my memory serves me right.
He turned pro, but I think it's fair to say he wasn't going to do anything special......

Big Danny Watts wasn't a bad fighter - I remember when he represented the army and he outboxed and outfought the big Russian/Chechen dentist who they called 'Drago' who boxed for Fitroy Lodge in the ABA final - heisname was Mohammed arrrrrrrgh I forgot - it is on the tip of my tongue.

From memory Khamkoer (?) - something like that, although when Danny beat him in the ABA finals the Russian had just been dropped and almost stopped by Reading's Keith Fletcher in the semis. The giant Lodge man knocked out Audley Harrison - Danny Watts also beat Audley on points in the amateurs. According to Mick Carney down the Fitzroy - about a week before the ABA finals the Russian said 'Mick, I have heard that running is good for boxers, should I try it?' He was a good fighter but went back home for work. I think Danny also stopped Michael Sprott due to a closed eye didn't he?

Billy Bessey Beating Joe Young was was of the funniest things I had seen, Joe Young was followed by Audley and his crew, thinking it was a done deal, but Billy stopped him, and Billy was not the biggest puncher in the world, but it just was good to watch, and I felt pleased for Bill, at least he bought a video!!!

He does security, he's a good guy is Joe Young, I used to speak to him quite a bit, lost his number, him and Audley were always tight.. Joe was a real good guy and someone I had loads of time for, our night out after the 4 nations in Glasgow was great ;)
