Witter's obviously been penalised for dropping out recently. No sign of Hatton either...
I think Cotto beats Zab already - but I doubt they'll make that match somehow...

Witter's blown it in my opinion. Even his most ardent supporters admitted the Pinto fight was his LAST chance to win over Showtime and secure that Hatton showdown (who he had labelled a "coward" in the build-up). But he pulled out like a bit of a coward himself - and was it a coincidence he pulled out at the same time he was nominated to fight for the vacant European light-welterweight title with Italy's beatable Salvatore Battaglia? He's another Johnny Nelson. He just wants it easy.

Witter never did deserve the number one spot anyhow.

Judah/Cotto looks like it would be one hell of a fight.

In the interviews since, Witter has talked about sitting down with Frank in the new year, working out a route forward, blah blah. No mention of trying to re-arrange the Pinto fight. There was never talk of the fight being "postponed", only cancelled. The injury was (IMO) genuine, but Witter certainly doesn't fancy the task and will stay well away from Pinto.

Cotto is the next superstar of world boxing. Right now I think he beats everyone at 10st except king Kostya and a light-welter Mayweather.

What has he accomplished to deserve to have anything to blow?

In 30 fights who has he beaten to deserve a top 10 ranking?, let alone a no 1 ranking.

He ran like a thief against Judah and lost a wide decision, big deal.

Hatton would break him in half, but that fight will NEVER happen.

I dont know if it is true, but I have heard that Witter has been in discussion with other promoters since he pulled out of the Pinto fight, but nobody is interested in him.

Witter couldnt sell out a minibus.

I cant see why anybody would be interested in him.

Unfortunately, Bojado's pulled out of his clash with top tenner Jesse James Leija, slated for January in Atlantic City, with flu.

Is Bojado a legit future champ...have heard so much about him in US publications...is it all hype or not?

He is very good. If he doesn't make it, he certainly won't be far off.

Cotto vs Pinto sounds moutherwatering, I really want to see this Pinto in action. He sounds like the devisions' dark horse.
