Where next? Tonight I thought he did not look good laboured to the win.

Perhaps he did need that lowkey 8 rounder Maloney had planned for him until he jumped ship to the Hattons?

I'm a broken record with this but again Rendall is another UK fighter caught up in loyalty to a training team that does eff all for him.

Has anyone ever heard either Shinfield give any advice other than "be busier" or " you need to throw more punches".

When I read he lef Baloney, I had hoped he would leave those two behind aswell. He doesn't need to throw more punches he needs to learn how to avoid some and work on his poor punching technique.

I think Munroe is a great guy and tough as nails but not going to the next level with the team he is with. The younger Shinfield loves the cameras too, sick of his daft grinning mug even when Rendall gets beat he looks like he has won the lottery.

I think Rendall is just average, he is brit/euro level and no more. His win last night was similar to a couple of his euro title defences, just labouring and all he had really was his strength. He said in the post-fight interview that he boxed rather than used his strength but I didn't really see much difference to a few other of his wins. That won't be enough at world level, he needs to work on his technique and maybe get some better sparring, far too easy to hit last night from an average opponent.

Good post.I have never seen why people think he will be a world champion.

Shinfields also train Ovill Mckenzie and Usman Ahmed dont they? i was under the impression that they got a fairly decent set up there. Although the gym is apparently a garden shed. My coach said that he used to go there in the morning to work on his fitness and he would go elsewhere for technique so maybe your right.

Wasn't to impressed with Munroe, looked lackluster at times. He needs to develop a little more.

randall monroe didnt impress and has only one or two times in his fights i even thought in my head and looked at my old trainer and said get me monroe ill come back and flog him had a harder spar with me old coach sat morning than he did in that fight and looked sorry randal there my thoughts

Personally I thought considering he was out for so long, plus his opponent was tricky, it was a good comeback fight.

Far better than a blowout - and given poor Jason Booth's last fight it makes his win's more significant.
