Rocky Wright beat Delroy Spencer
60-54
Scrappy bout, Wright just did enuff in each round to take the victory. Still unbeaten after 3fights.
Steven Banks beat Ryan Clark
60-54
Good fight with Banks throwing some nice bodyshots and used his jab well. Fair play to Clark who Landed some nice punches, tough customer but good debut for Banks.
Gary Cornish beat Howard Daley
TKO 2nd
The huge 6f 7 Cornish used his height and 2stone weight advantage to stop the game Howard Daley. Cornish landed some heavy shots at the begining of the second and ref called to a halt with Daley on his feet.

Aye mate, boxed him on his debut. Was suppose to be fighting Chris Reily I think it was but it was Delroy who turned up. Dunno what the script was. At least he got the rounds in.

Weighed in at 16st 7 or round about that. Actually have good hand speed and good feet work for a big guy. For only having 9 amatur fights he didn't look out of place in a pro ring. He rushed in a little too much, a bit eager to get the stoppage, but that's what he got. Its hard to judge him with the fight only being 6x2s and it stopping 40seconds into the second.

It was a decent pay day but that isn't why I took the fight. It was a calculated risk that didn't pay off, the guy had only 9 amateur bouts under his belt and I thought I could have put the pressure on and make him fold. He was the strongest hardest hitting man I have faced and if my defence hadn't been so tight He would have made a right mess of me. I'll obviously have to stick to cruisers for now. The ref said "he's too big and strong for you" I couldn't argue really but like I said my defence was tight and I'm not hurt or marked up so I'm back in training for a home show on the 28th May in Preston where I will get at worse a 50/50 match up. Anyway I've got to go now as I am really busy at the minute with work and boxing so I'll get back on here when I can.
