I've just caught the Premier sport version of the Judah vs Mabuzza bill. We've talked about a new generation of commentators. I just want to say how effing Brilliant I thought Jameel McCline was as the colour commentator - really articulate and a good interview he co conducted with Tyson and Adamek. He's certainly got his faculties in tacked.
Sounds like he has done it in years, he even pulled the mic away as he anticipated Tyson was going to swear.
This man needs to be on the big shows, so much better than Tarver.

I got all excited there when I saw the title, I thought he was making a comeback in prizefighter! Was a big fan of his back in the day, haven't seen the commentary but he always seemed like an articulate guy with his head screwed on.

I agree. I caught him doing this gig when the fight happened a few weeks ago and thought he was excellent. The best boxer behind the mic i've ever heard.

Did he do time for something, or am I getting him mixed up with someone else? Seeing him next to Adamek shows the taunting task facing Tomasz - he towered over him, although there looked to be a bigger size gap when he interviewed Tyson.
Nice to see an interview with Tyson not asking the typical questions about a comeback.
Good boxer, although just lacked that bit of devil. Had the attributes to go to the top....just seemed to lack the killer instinct. He was giving Valuev a tough time before a freak injury.

No you're right stu, he did 5 years before he started boxing. And you're certainly right about the lack of aggression and killer instinct, something he admitted to himself, never more evident than when he put Sam Peter down 3 times and couldn't finish the job.

His mic style is good but he seemed to be bending over backwards to make Adamek's performance against McBride sound impressive (and to make McBride sound dangerous) when neither were true in the slightest.
