ITS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE

I'm sad to say that after 139 professional fights the time has come for me to call it a day.I could sit here all day sayin what if i'd done things this way or that way or i wish i'd done this or that, but the truth is i've loved every minute of it and i wouldn't have it any other way.Over the years i've Had some brilliant experiences,i've met some amazing people through boxing and made some great friends and i'd love to write down their names but there's too many and i'd hate to leave anyone out so i'd just like to say a big big thank you to everyone i've been involved with through boxin, its been an absolute pleasure and i'll miss it like nothing else.I'm gonna take some time out while i try and sort out my shambles of a personal life( :witzend: ) then hopefully once i'm settled get back into boxing as maybe an inspector or referee.

all the very best

I've been through the odd shambles in my personal life. At one point I'd have swapped it for a 12 round beating off Mark Prince.

You'll get there mate. :TU:

Respect from me mate. Got a few questions if you don't mind:

Who impressed you the most in the ring?

Who hit the hardest?

Who was the toughest opponent?

indeed, just looked over your record.
gavin rees x 2, ricky burns, john murray, lee mccalister, carl johannson, kevin mitchell, amir khan, paul mcloskey, anthony crolla, liam walsh, shinnie bayar, derry mathews and many many more

a whos-who of brittish super featherweight, lightwieght and light welterweights.

a record to be rightly proud of.

one of the unsung heros who, without you brittish boxing wouldn't be where it is.

a well deserved retirement
