Another excellent interview. Hope Rhodes does it but I think he will need to stop him - and what a sight that would be in front of thousands of Mexican's.

other than Jose Cotto (who started his career fighting at 122lb) this has to be Alvarez's biggest test by far.We all know what ryan is capable of. Should be an absolute cracker. come on Ryan!

Great piece. It'd be amazing to see him pull it off. Prob noone who deserves it more. Hopefully it's his time.

Just cannot see it happening if I am honest, I mean cannot see Ryan pulling it off. Alvarez has got that solid look about him, does nothing spectacular but looks very consistent. Fights with a maturity beyond his years - I think he will be too fresh and will stop the Spice Boy.

he's also very straight-up, doesn't move his head very much or his feet very well, mate. if i was picking a world level fighter whose style might be suited to Rhodes, he'd look pretty similar to Alvarez (though probably for preference 10 years older and more shopworn)
