It was annouced he be fighting on 25th June in Sheffield. Who do you think it will be?

The names on the shortlist i have seen are all excellent fights and a cracking step up for him. Really, really looking forward to it.

I may be completley wrong. But i have a funny idea it could be Joshua Clottey.

cant do, it wouldnt be fair. suffice to say all the names i have seen mentioned are seasoned, good quality (in a couple of cases EXCEPTIONAL quality) fighters who will really allow to see where Kell is at.

PS it's not gonna be a rematch against philip kotey

Kendall Holt, Demetrius Hopkins and Steve Forbes are on the shortlsit.

Any of those names would be a massive step in class for Kell. He needs tough fights he last fight was a joke.

I think Malignaggi would box his ears off. Certainly don't see Kell being able to remove him early either.

N'Dou is a good call, will certainly show us if kell can do 10-12 rounds in a winnable fight. Also gives a comparison for a possible money spinner in the uk for a hatton fight.

I know that n'dou and malignaggi have been discussed along with others who have been world champions in the very recent past. There have also been discussions regarding true legends of the sport as well - sure you can all do the guesswork. Eddie hearn is VERY committed to testing kell and raising his profile and knows he needs serious opponents to do that!

Malinaggi isn't coming to the UK to fight Kell Brook. People need to be realistic here.

Lovemore N'dou is a more likely opponant, because he's well past it and will pretty much fight anywhere for a few quid.

Rafeal jackiewicz or Randall Bailey would be good tests

Bring them all on, Kell will smash the lot (including Amir Khan IMO)

Same here and he's in a tough division. He'll never get a fight with the top two, but behind them you've got Berto and Ortiz as well.

Randall Bailey would definitely be a good opponant.

berto and ortiz are good fighters but kell wants to be a genuine world champ so these fights are the ones he wants in due course. he needs to be stepped up first but i, along with lots of other people, believe he can mix it with these guys.

The reason why I'd like to see him face Randall Bailey because if there is one thing kell hasn't shown us is if he can take a good shot probably because he hasn't had to yet but Bailey would definately show us that, there aren't many harder punchers p4p than bailey
