The day is becoming bigger and bigger each year and it's a great reminder of the sacrifices made for this country :TU:

Got up early and watched the dawn service on TV. Didn't see Dad's WWII outfit listed on "where to gather." Maybe there are none of them left.
As I never fought in a war I will leave the drinking and two up to those who did.

I went to the local Dawn Service, it had a massive turn out. It was great to see.

the dawn service at the war memorial is usually pretty big, but work got in the way this year. Was thinking about maybe heading over to gallipoli in 2015, Theres been alot of adds on tv for packages and cruises. But im a bit iffy on going to turkey. I think maybe one of the smaller villages in France or Belgium would be a better bet

Much love and respect from the UK - We are forever in debt to all the Commonwealth.

Imagine a world without war. Give the politicians gloves and let them duke it out rather than having boys slaughtered over the ambitions of greedy old men.
