Celebrities in the boxing audience are often introduced to the crowd. Often, these celebrities are boxers themselves. I wonder what show had the greatest assemblage of boxing royalty present in the crowd. Any ideas?
The Nov. 25, 1919 Vernon, California, card had a fine bunch: then Champion Jack Dempsey was present, along with Jim Jeffries, Jim Corbett, Kid McCoy and Leach Cross.

Surely the big ones of today have many boxing superstars in them?

Unfortunately, I don't think there are many ringside intros these days. I recall a card at MSG, maybe Sanchez-Nelson, when about eight or ten greats were introduced. Griffith, Pryor, Ortiz among them.
In 1983, I was at the Collins-LaPaglia bout in Chicago. Tony Zale was introduced and received a standing O which really moved the former champ. I was lucky enough to shake his hand later as he went up the aisle. I'll never forget how his face lit up when he heard those cheers.
