Not sure about primo carnera is run to the top was heavily influence by the mafia with talk of is oppents taking dives. Got battered on is first defence and never boxed again

That isn't anything remotely like the truth.
Carnera made two defences of his title.
He boxed for another 13 years after losing his title and went on to a very successful wrestling career.
