Anyone else really looking forward to Degale vs Groves?

This is a very highly anticipated fight for me.

I will get a great buzz watching these two coming out on the night, getting introduced etc.

I fancy Degale to win big.

But this fight has caught my interest massively and I am really looking forward to it. Anyone else really looking forward to this one?

Not really, yet another mismatch Sky are charging us the sum of £14.95 to watch.

Yes I am very much looking forward to it. When such a fight is in the speculation phase, the cynics sneer at the possibility that it might happen and long for the days when undefeated prospects faced each other. Now we have the fight made and there are still complaints. :witzend:

Basically, everyone on the forum is looking forward to it.If their not, they are in the wrong place.Wether they are looking forward to paying fifteen quid for it is another matter.

No, I'm not nearly as up for it as I thought I would be.

Yawn! You think that that remark was hilarious enough for two laughing emoticons? Personally I would have gone for just :OhYes:

Actually I probably get a lot more excited about plenty of all-English clashes then English fans get about all-Irish clashes, but dont let that distract you from your hilarity! :TU:

Sadly I think it could be reminiscent of Calzaghe vs Delaney. Both highly touted prospects, although one always looked a class above the other - I couldn't believe it that Delaney was betting favourite.

Nice fight but being overhyped a little.

I'm looking forward to the 'event', but not so much the fight itself as think Groves will be stopped after a few rounds. Cleverly - Braehmer should be the far better fight.

I'm glad the fight has been made and will defo be watching but I think it will be a bit of a scrappy affair early rounds with both men too eager to get to the other first.

Bloody hell, I bet even DeGale and Groves parents are thinking about going lower tier for this one

It's crazy that some people will pay £500 for this card, I have only just about justified the £15 box office fee to myself

I'm looking forward to the night. We've all been following Clev's progress so I'm sure we all think he deserves a world title shot so for me, this is the fight you're paying for. However, I'm looking forward to seeing the Degale/Groves fight but I think it should have happened next summer when they've both progressed a bit. It's a good night of boxing for the Brits though, Sky could have made a lot of friends by putting this on Sky Sports 1 on a Saturday night, but after reading Eddie Hearn in BM then you can't blame the promotors for favouring PPV if the Sky Sports 1 shows are turning out to be non-profit.

Was he i was told that Calzaghe was 1/10 lol but i will always remember that Barry Hearn said who ever wins this fight will go on and be the main man in the division for a long time and well done to Calzaghe he was the best for a long time :TU:

Was it Ticketmaster? Their charges are horrendous and not remotely justifiable, IMO.

It's very rare we get to see 2 up and coming prospects go at it, can't wait!!! The bad feeling between the 2 just adds to it for me

Booking fees seem a bargain compared to the parking at the O2. £25 or £20 pre booked, yeah right.
