When I got in from work I looked for it and it has gone. When do Lee and Howard box? What is the venue and how much are the tickets?

(I hope Lee is feeling better, think he had 'man flu').

I think Teddys Toupee was revealed in the thread and the mods removed it to protect his privacy. So it seems someobdy hit the nail on the head. Anybody care to PM who it was in the end?

So he talked all that shit and his record is even worse than Howard's

He is supposed to be a right handful in the street, I think he took to boxing late and struggled to become technically sound

Guys, tickets are £30 unreserved or £50 ringside. If anyone can make it to support me or Lee then I can arrange tickets to be left on the door or I can deliver in the north-west. I need to sell tickets to make this work guys so all support is very appreciated. I think if you are right about Teddy's Toupe and his record then he will obviously want me to fail or he will wonder why I could do it when he couldn't. I was a late starter but its coming together now and I believe I can turn it round

If a guy steps through the ropes and gives it a go I will respect him as a fighter, however I can't but help comment on a 0-19 record when it belongs to someone who was denigrating a brave guy like Howard and making all sorts of claims about beating him if they fought.

You can turn it around Howard but why let people talk you into fights with heavyweights like Cornish, who might not be world beaters but might eventually mix in good company.

i'm looking foward to this one should be a cracking fight forget about all the big arena fights this fight is what boxing is all about good luck to both fellas

I hear what you are saying Chris but nobody talked me into that fight. I took a calculated risk against a debutant which back fired on me. I heard he had only had 9 amatuer and thought his management were rushing him. I didn't know he had won a Scottish aba but to be honest I would have still taken it. Anyway, there will be no more calculated risks against untested heavies. Thanks for the concern though mate, you have made a very valid point.

Thanks mate, I think it is a very evenly matched fight which makes a change nowadays in anything other than mandatory title fights. Then you have the added bonus of the "grudge" factor which is a first for me in 27 pro fights, I'm too nice for this game :-)

Does it 'feel' different to a regular bout? I mean with the 'needle'; does it matter more that you know Lee, rather than a boxer from another town?
