PPV for domestic fights stinks! What happens when promoters fighter lands 5 punch combo and promoters ref stops the fight, we all get robbed. How we going to feel then??
This could happen if degale lands a couple of punches.

agreed. degale is another khan he throws punches in bunches. he overwhelms people with punches and the fight gets stopped. he hasn't got knockout power imo. saying that it was a good stoppage against horton. I do fill for groves because the first punch that snaps his head back this fight could get stopped. Its the same with all fw prospect they throw a combo that land and the fight is over.
I hope im wrong because letting this fight play out could turn it into a real cracker.

Degale does throw punches in bunches, but unfortunately his fights are stopped after 90% of them hit arm and glove.

I fear this might be case tonight, I really hope the ref is decent.

It's simple, don't buy it and watch it elsewhere!

I for one will be shocked to find out that this televised bill of boxing has stolen my wallet & credit cards, but rest assured your timely reminder has made me contact the rozzers in advance, just in case I wake up tomorrow & my flat's been cleaned out, for at least I shall know who to blame.

Ta.

I always feel extremely letdown when I'm anticipating a good fight and it doesn't materialise, the 15 rats I've paid isn't going to turn that disappointment into anything more.

You know what the more I think about it the more I think the Degale/Groves rivalry is panto to sell the Box Office promotion. Hence Warren/Sky's reluctance to take it off of Box Office and put it on normal Sky.

I think the plan was that Degale/Groves hype the show as Clerverley has beaten nobody to justify being PPV himself and isn't exactly Mr Charisma. Then after this Warren/Sky can say "Cleverley is a Box Office fighter" and start charging for all of his future "world" title fights.

First of all they used to justify PPV when it was a UK card featuring fighters like Hamed & Calzaghe before switching to the US for a big card from there and you begrudingly coughed up.

Then Warren moved the goalposts and start putting together cards with 7 average fights on calling them things like "Super Seven" etc.

And now we get Nathan Cleverley and a British title fight which the 2 contestants are doing their absolute best to flog. Sky are pricks.

The Yanks had Hopkins v RJJ as ppv which is a hell of a lot worse than tonights.

I'm off to watch Derren Brown instead tonigh
