He might be rubbish but he has more experience and more wins.

braemar has failed to show in his last two bouts i read in a report :!: wazza should start getting fined & stripped of ppv as he keeps flogging dead horse.

Not knocking Nathan but calling this a a 'World Title' and milking it for PPV is pretty shit.

Bellew wouldn't have been competitive. He looked washed out at press conference today and would have lasted about 2 rounds if he had made weight. What's more, he could have been hurt.
This guy is ranked, had a decent amateur background and a fair career. He was the best available, I'm sure everyone wanted Braehmer to show up. What do you expect, Chad Dawson?

This guy is much better than Anderson. Getting stopped by Braehmer is better than getting stopped by Groves. What's more, if DeGale stops Groves early, Anderson will look a bit poor getting in the ring straight after.

I don't think all the blame should lie with Bellew. He shot of at the mouth without thinking of the issues obviously, but come on. His promoter has been in the game 30 years - where was the weights before the big announcement and press conference. Surely he could have tested the weight before announcing it to the boxing world it was on.

Nothing to blame now but himself and his team for that fiasco. Unless it was a fiasco of course - I wonder how many people have order on PPV with non refundable purchase. This Pole was never going to shift PPV's or tickets was he.

Imagine if Haye was scheduled to fight Wlad, Wlad pulled out at the last minute - who you would announce to replace to fight him - Vitali, but make sure there is Albert Sosnowski on standby (for the standby) incase something bad happens to Vitali.

2 KO's in 20 fights, so he ain't coming to KO Nathan. 2 losses by KO, against the 2 best opponents he has faced. All others on his record are non descript, so the likelyhood that he can outbox Nathan is even more remote.

The Polish guy is cannon fodder. End of.

You'd think with Braehmers history of no shows that Warren would have a back up Light Heavyweight contest on the bill between 2 credible ranked fighters who could have also acted as stand in's incase Braehmers didn't show up.

Kuziemski is simply an atrocious replacement and takes away any credibility this supposed world title fight had.

Also lets be honest, Cleverley isn't even one of the top 5 Light Heavyweights fighting this weekend which puts things into perspective as Bhops, Pascal, Dawson, Diaconu and Sillakh are all on a different level to him at the moment.

The bill has become all about one fight which is a cool domestic scrap but no way is it close to being PPV now.

If we are being honest it is a harder fight than Bellew, it was going to be an easy night work with a very early KO in fairness.

Oh there will be conspiracy theories about this one. Unheralded Pole or Tony Bellew - who is going to sell more PPV's?

Bellew is an impulsive sort of guy. It's not surprising that he got caught up in the moment - a bit like many of you. He probably, naively, thought he could make the weight and, in his head, this could've been his moment to crack the big time. Boxing is only a hype business if you let the hype get to you. The new replacement is not a bad sub for Braehmer and he's known he already knew he was potentially in the picture so should have no dramas doing the weight.

I'm sure others like my self brought tickets after it was announced he would be fighting Cleverly. I now want a refund, but won't get one. So who should we blame?

Seriously, please explain? The guy is higher ranked and can box a lot better than Tony. If you think differently you are not a fan of boxing. Tony has and always will have a punchers chance but he does get caught too easily, Bob put him down with a jab and Ovill caught him flush, he got up yes and all credit to him, that punch could have KO a horse. Maybe Bellew might be more dangerous than the Pole on his night, but it wasn't going to be Bellew's night seeing the press conference. Cleverly was very correct about him being dead at the weight.

Part of me thinks Tony always knew he'd be over the limit and it was just some self promotion, which I guess has worked for him now.

You don't know he didn't call him, just one of many ridiculous assumptions. Chances are they called everyone. Maybe they asked for a £1million (lot of the £14.95s people on here moan about so much), maybe they wanted more than 2 days to prepare for a world title shot on away territory?
