Just a thought I want to throw out to you guys...........
Would you a agree that the next generation of boxers will not match up to what has gone before, particularly over the last 15 years or so ?
Most of the best fighters of this era have gone over the hill or are fast approaching it. Jones jr is 42, Hopkins 46, mosley 40, marquez and pacquaio are in their mid thirties, even mayweather is now going on 32 !! Are the likes of Martinez, Bradley, khan etc adequate replacements ? I personally feel boxing is currently going through a watershed, where the quality and profile of fighters is not being replenished by the younger generation.
Do you agree with this ?
If you do, give your opinion on why its happenning ?
Or if you don't agree, name some fighters that you feel will match the previous generation
