I grabbed a tenner out of my pocket and handed it to him. It was the strangest thing. I'm getting older and as I do I don't let the sun go down on me until I've done somebody a good turn. It's a matter of faith I suppose, love's in need of love today, praying for time, who knows? Anyway, I went outside and my girlfriend was sat in the car spinning the wheel. I told her I'd just given the journeyman a tenner and she said 'I'm kissing a fool'. She'd been outside for ages.
