Hopefully he'll ditch the I'm great and every one else is a twat facade, a bit of respect goes down well with the fans.

A world class trainer wouldn't hurt. He has the tools, he just needs someone who will prepare him properly, fire him up before the fight and give him the right advice between rounds. He's an olymic gold medallist and a big talent in a deep division, Allegedly should be able to cough up enough money to pay for someone above domestic level.

DeGale will be rubbishing Groves and campaigning for a rematch, but will just mak the public turn against him even more.

Anderson is a good shout for his next opponent.

The rematch is a no-no. I'd like to see Groves fight Paul Smith and a couple of defences, then step up to the European level.

Think Frank and him will be at Hayemaker door on Monday with there tail between legs with a large bag of cash to get a rematch.
If I were Groves I would take the money from Degale or McDonnell from the bets they placed and wait till he got a world title to do it again.
Groves is the big ticket now. Think Degale will get rid of his trainer as he showed his lack of intelligence at the press conference. Get in UGLY KID

Can't agree. I still see a fragility about Groves that will be exposed at some point. And let's not get carried away, it was a waiffer thin decision, albeit a tactically astute one.

The rematch would do big money if they staged it tomorrow and has a ready made support bout in Clev-Bellew. It'll happen this summer and, as long as this hasn't ruined him psychologically, I'd fancy Degale to force the pace next time.

Not quite, Dave DeGale has the skills but he completely underestimated Georges progression in the pro scene.

They are both very good boxers but the nicer dude won!

Why is his career over? I thougt he edged the fight and I still believe he has what it takes to be a successful fighter of at least EBU caliber.

I think DeGale needs to go to the states and box over there. He hasn't exactly got a huge fanbase over here, and he'd get much better sparring.

Yes, but Groves has not beat Smith, so he will be bagging another good name for his record, and getting another (much-needed) 12 rounder.

I agree with Warren, it'll probably be the making of him. He'll come back bitter and better.

If I was Groves I'd piss on a rematch, if the board try and force his hand, find a way out, because Degale would come out looking for the kill in a rematch and the realist in me thinks he'd get it... or get knocked out in the process.

Hes another Fraudley Harrison, a gold medalist who will be boo'd and hated everytime he fights and turn out to be a bit of a joke as a professional.
