I didn't score it but a draw was the only thing that could have screwed me on the betting front and when they were announcing the result I was pretty sure that was what it was going to be.

He scored the first round to DeGale which I though was odd.

Groves edged it marginally. I feel if it wasn't for the bad cut Groves suffered in the 10'th (I think), Groves could have won the last two rounds decisively. The cut seemed to have blurred his vision and Groves was unable to see very well for the last two.

Groves has more heart than Degale.

I had it dead even, 114-114 but thought Groves deserved the win, a few of the rounds I gave to Chunky could of went either way whereas I thought the rounds Groves won were clearer

Groves won it by two for me. I think it is all down to if you think aggression and going forward should be rewarded.

I scored it 6rd to Groves, 5 to Degale and 1 even which i think was the 1st rd as neither fight was particulary active or landed with anything significant so 114-113 Groves.

Groves won a few rds for me just as much for his ring generalship and defence then his punches landed.

The ref was terrible and stopped Groves from having a much clearer victory. Degale should have had 1 point deducted for illegal use of shoulder and elbows as he continued use them throughout the fight.

Also the 11th Round which Degale won big was really down to blood streaming down Groves face and into his eyes impairing his vision. This was caused from a headclash not a punch so the ref should have stopped the action and allowed Groves corner to clean the blood up rather then giving an unfair advantage to Degale.

I watched the fight from ringside. I had Groves up 3-1 by the fourth and then got too excited and forgot about trying to score it and just enjoyed the fight. It always looked like Groves had to work every second of the fight to stay in it while Degale looked much more relaxed, like he was only giving it 75%. Degale looked to be stronger and when he really opened up he had Groves hurt several times (don't ask me to say which rounds) but Groves landed plenty of good shots on Degale with sweat spraying off and, although they didn't seem to bother Degale as much as Degale's shots bothered George, there seemed to be more of them and the crowd were so behind Groves that everything he did that was good was cheered (much like the Froch-Kessler fight) and Degale's good work didn't get the same reaction. I thought that was going to be important in the closer rounds, because crowd noise does influence judging. At the end, I felt that Groves had won- he'd shown guts and determination and, even though Degale was the better boxer, Groves had just done more. He'd worked so hard.

Also, Degale's blatant use of the shoulder and the elbow, that was out of order and maybe should have lost him a point. I was hoping the ref was going to take one, wanting Groves to win. But he didn't, and to be honest it's a fight, so I don't mind the odd foul going in. It livens things up a bit sometimes.

In front of us were Degale's mates (or so they said) who had their man up, behind us were some Degale supporters who thought Degale had it, and the two mates I had either side of me that I could talk to (who were Groves supporters) weren't sure, conceding they thought Degale had probably nicked it. Then one of the geezers behind, all eagle eyed, caught Fwank's face looking all crestfallen and went "THEY'RE GONNA GIVE IT TO GROVES! LOOK AT WARREN'S FACE! BELIEVE ME.... THEY'RE GIVING IT TO GROVES!" or something like that, and then they announced him as the winner and we went nuts. It was great. Then some idiots waving towels kicked off with security in one of the most pathetic attempts I've seen at 'starting a fight' in a long time, the Hayemaker boys filed past us (didn't get to shake any hands or anything, bit gutted, David Haye is much smaller than you'd think) and we all went to the pub. I can't understand the posters saying it was a crap fight in the RBR. I thought it was great. I guess you had to be there... Oh yeah the Tyson Fury incident was funny as hell, and much more interesting than the Gavin fight.

Sorry. Groves won. I vote GROVES. YES!!!

Haha it was hard to see what was going on, because it happened in the seats to the left of us, so you could hear the crowd reacting, like it does when something kicks off (and it seemed to kick off A LOT last night) and everyone going "there's a fight! Over there!" and I just saw Tyson Fury with his shirt off shouting. Security got involved, people were in the way. So, I can't really tell you what happened, other than I saw Tyson Fury shirtless, there'd been some sort of altercation, and it was funny and exciting, which the Gavin fight wasn't really. Then it kind of filtered back through the crowd that it'd been with Chisora. So I dunno what happened really. Sorry. Did anybody else see anything?

He definitely kicked off with someone. Like I said, that's who everyone said it was. It's all to sell the fight, anyway. I'd be surprised if it went beyond a bit of pushing and chest puffing. The worst thing was Murray and Mitchell in the ring together- didn't come over well. But I bumped into Kevin later after the fight and he seemed a nice bloke, stopped and posed for a photo etc.
