I couldn't beleive what i was seeing last night when murray and mitchell were in the ring WWE style, microphones in hand, trading insults and blatantly trying to act like WWE wrestlers. It was obviously an FW publicity stunt, but why. Surely for the life of me that FW wont try an make this fight look bigger than it is, and then try and make another PPV. I just cant think of any other reason why he wanted them in the ring like that together, other than him wanting to make it PPV. Surely not.

I really hope not; Domestic level fights and 'normal' World Title fights should not be PPV. There should be an argument (by the promoter or broadcaster) put forward as to why as show should cost an extra £15. I wouldn't mind shelling out for a mega fight between 2 stellar P4P fighters. There has been 'PPV creep' though.

(They did look like t w a t s doing all that though; they could've said 'No', they are men and not puppets).

They looked like a pair of bellends. Mitchell doing the cut throat gesture. Haha weirdos.

Pair of prats. It was cringe-worthy and unprofessional by both men (especially the cut throat gesture by Mitchell).

I get the feeling Warren has something up his sleeve for this fight, maybe a PPV?

Who was the first boxer to do that cut throat thing? I saw Shinny Bayaar do it, and it did look quite intimidating, but Mitchell doing it with a shiny suit on didn't have quite the same effect. Whoever's idea it was, it was a very bad one.

Mike Tyson did it toward Michael Spinks' corner after he'd dusted him but before the ref had counted to 10.

I fail to see how making empty threats then repeatedly chin/headbutting lewis' left and right hands for half an hour makes you a "thoroughly bad man". Certianly lewis in this case is the thorough bad ass not tyson.

Stop being so naive this is exactly what boxing needs a bit of promotion a bit of showmanship okay it was a bit American wrestling but there isn't necessarily anything wrong with that the fight needs to be hyped people need continuity they need name recognition. If they enjoyed Degale Groves as a night out they can do it again for another cracking domestic dust up with Mitchell Murray.

LOL NO NEED TO APOLOGISE MATE .we all got opinions...was just making the point tyson could be accused of being lots of mouth and less to back it up by this stage of his career, didnt mean to come over patronising...

I best slighty rephrase that last comment, because murray is obviously european champion, but he will never ever be capable of stepping up any higher whatsoever. If there was, then he wouldnt still be fighting at this level after so many bouts.

fornicate it all to hell, if this goes PPV, most people here are probably going to watch it on a stream, with the mentality "ok, if it's a dodgy stream in Bulgarian which keeps stopping and starting so what? It's not worth the £15"

A good PPV should sell itself, and be worth the money.

Personnally, I might see if it's on at a pub, but ouldn't watch a stream or pay.

A fight like this is good, but nowhere near ppv worthy. A good pay per view should be one you can easily sell to your mates, too - eahc chip in £3 or whatever. With this, I'd be hard pressed to get people interested in watching it even if it was just on normal Sky Sports.

Has Mitchell sorted out his legal problems?

When watching the boxing at the weekend I saw an advert on the big screen for this fight and the sky box office sign. Does this mean it is PPV? If so I think this will do tiny numbers.
