Good, I think DeGale needs to take it like a man, move on and use this loss as motivation. I don't think his management are doing him any favours by telling he's owed a rematch.

If he's got the talent, which he clearly has, he'll get his chance in the future.

I'm glad the rematch isn't happening! Hopefully both men move on and make a massive rematch down the line.

I agree. Both will have really made their name in the wider public domain after Saturday. Everytime either fights a rematch will get a mention and it will be just massive in 18 months-2 years, which can only be good for British boxing

Good decision by the board. It was a close fight but not a robbery and to bow to demands of an immediate rematch would set a precedent

Be much bigger fight then could fill a football ground with right promotion.

Groves should now try and get a euro shot whilst Degale should fight Anderson as a British eliminator

Agree with all on here, its a good thing they anit boxing again straight away. Let it simmer for a while then it could be huge in a year or two. I think Warren said he's goni try get Degale out again in July, if he does it will be interesting to see who he gets for him. As for Groves, this win opens so many doors for him so he could be in with anyone next.

I think the Board got it right, was a voluntary defence for both James DeGale and George Groves and the judges at ringside got decision right so there is no justification for an immediate rematch between DeGale and Groves at all, although when they are both in possession of world title fights I would not rule out a tasty rematch in the future packing out the O2 again. Groves' aim should be win the Lonsdale outright go for a European title shot and after that who knows. DeGale's aim should be get back into the ring as soon as possible rebuild his confidence with the aim of pushing again for the British title in the next 12-18 months when he has got a good run of results in tough fights that has restored his confidence and has won an eliminator for the title.

It is a good decision not to grant an immediate rematch based on the result. Whilst I like to see immediate rematches for robberies, it shouldn't be the case for close decision. Is Kenny Anderson going to be the Mandatory (He was supposed to be fighting Groves in an eliminator). I can see Degale being installed as the next mandatory, and I would also agree with that. I do appreciate the "get back in the line" message of the BBBoC in that press release, but its not a very deep line is it. We don't really know where we stand with Magee, and who could also be considered..... Fielding?

Groves got his win and if i were him i'd hold off for a rematch until there's a world belt involved. Groves has secured himself a big money fight for the future with that win.

Difference between the Fury - McDermott result to this is the Fury fight was a controvertial decision. Groves - DeGale was just tight but no robbery

Is the Groves fight being shown on Sky this week?

Grove has got his own career to get on with now....he's the man.

The Groves v Degale fight was not that great that I would not want to see it again in the short term. The Groves V Anderson fight however was a cracker and Anderson came in a short notice for that fight. Groves V Anderson II with Anderson getting full notice would be the fight I'd rather see.
