Just thinking about this- which fighter did it the most times, both domestically and internationally?
Internationally felix trinidad did against Cortes, Carr, campus, lueshing, Vargas, Reid and mayorga
Domestically hamed did it against kelley, Johnson, Sanchez, calvo
Anyone else you guys can think of?

Dave McAuley held or holds the record for most amount of times down in fights, I think. Wlad is second behind Patterson but as to the original question, I dunno.
If you look at some of those old fights where there was no standing 8 etc, there's some fights with 20-40 knockdowns in.

Carl Thompson was always likely to hit the canvas at some point. The Rothman fight was a classic, as well as the majority of his other fights for that matter.

Archie Moore - I knew about the first Durelle fight where he was down 4 times but came back to win. Having looked through his record (instead of doing some work), it turns out the Mongoose was dropped 12 times in bouts that he eventually won.
