Perth Results from Last Night

The rest of the bill was a mixed bag, not helped by women's world lightweight champion Erin McGowan having to fight an exhibition contest.
With her original opponent, Canadian Amy Johnson, pulling out injured and the WA commission refusing to sanction her non-title fight against late substitute Ploysuay Sakrungruang, McGowan put on an exhibition match against the Asian.
Sakrungruang, whose record on Boxrec is nine losses from nine fights, came to the ring wearing a head guard - unlike McGowan - only to toss it back to her corner inside a minute.
The Thai visitor then probably wished she'd kept the protection on as she withstood six rounds of one-sided punishment which, if nothing else, justified the decision not to recognise her as a worthy opponent for a world champion.

Bit worried there for a bit, Bogavic is defiantely needed, and is a quality fighter in the strong cruiser divison ATM, can't wait to see him matched strong again.
How did Forsyth v Siale go?

Forsyth was rusty but got the job done via unanimous decision

Interesting take on it.
It went more like, Forsyth started well, Took the first 3 rounds. Siale stepped up from then on and it was an absolute War. Siale getting the better of it. Forsyth was hurt in the 4th, then hurt again in the 8th.

Unfortunately i didnt get to the fights, but after speaking to those that did Adam shouldnt be in a hurry to get in the ring with Brad Pitt. I was reported a week or so ago that the Pitt Forsyth fight had been agreed to and would take place later this year (Sunday times reported it, Perth paper).

I got a news story on it on my site. Forsyth said he wants an IBF regional title before he fights Pitt and will more then likely happen early 2012.

Sorry Brute, i never mentioned records i said matched strong, Declan Trainor carved him up in less than a round, and if you
had seen the fight you would have understood what i was saying.
Bogavic is needed in the cruiser division, don't think he's the strongest, but his purpose will be served, i know of a fighter who's dying to get in the ring with him...hope it comes off.

That fight was in a club too close to my place to get in without being a member and Scot-Irishers are the wrong ethnic group to know somebody there.
