Total nonsense. You were not there. Firstly 13 fights not 15. Secondly one home boxer lost (Ryan Barrett) another Diego Burton (drew) plenty of otehrs were close matches decided by a point.

Billy Cayzer looked very impressive as did Nathan Weise. Some very evenly matched bouts was very enjoyable. Fairplay to the support of Mark Adams as well.

Big respect for Johnny Greaves though, he took a fight with two hours notice. Top notch stuff Mr Greaves!

I only went down to do a corner. After boxing started. I was asked whether I could fight after a no show. That was 6. After rushing home to get some shorts & boots. I wad back within an hour & boxed half hour after my return. Easiest pound note I ever earned. Heard of short notice. Even for me that one takes some beating, lol!

Yes mate. From the day I turned, 100 was the Target . No desire at all to have any more after that. I'm really enjoying myself at the mo so I think I have 30 odd left in me

I left after a couple of rounds of the Ryan Barrett fight as he was cruising and I didn't consider it possible that he would lose.....what happened ?

It was one of those nights for me where not much really grabbed the imagination, but I managed to miss an upset in the main event, so more fool me......

Been to those type of shows myself but normally the main event is the one where the boxers have a bit more class & there is a chance of an upset.

My York Hall supremo Will Hale has sent a report; we had a snapper there and it takes me some time to sort that aspect - will be up later today.

Ryan had nothing left in the tank, he struggled to make the weight and his boy couldn't cope with what was a sweltering hot day inside the York Hall. He plans to move up a weight to Light Welter.

As i said, he wasn't hurt in the slightest just his body had spent all its energy.
