Congratulations on becoming European champion. The first 7 round Rees was boxing very well then he came unstuck then came back into in last 2. If he can work on being consistent for 12 rounds cn see him giving Murray or Mitchell a very hard fight.

While being interesting and while i loved the way he jabbed and hooked his way inside his taller opponent for 7 rounds i cant see him getting any change out of Mitchell and defo not Murray. Like i said i love his style and he's a great example along with Montell Griffin on how short guys can completely outbox tall kids on the outside.

thats the last 2 fights i've watched him in where he's completely outclassed his opponent in the first half of the fight then completely ran out of gas. admittedly he seems to be able to find a second wind towards the back end of the fight. but he wont be able to have massive dips like that if he wants to get back to world level. he really needs to work on his fitness or he'll go no further. and at 31, if he hasn't learned how to put the pre fight leg work in i doubt he will now.

the fighter i seen in the first 6 rounds of his last 2 fights could give most fighters in the division serious problems. but he just cant sustain that for 12 rounds.

I agree with the praise for Rees, he uses his size to his advantage so, so well. As for the stamina issue, remember that he's just had a 7 month break so ring rust could have been an issue like in John Murray's last fight.

Crolla wants to fight him. I think Rees should have another defence in Cardiff Crolla be ok. But Crolla next fight is for WBA inter title. The hattons like this bull shit title!

Rees to win the lonsdale belt outright, maybe get the commonwealth with 1 of the defences as well and have a wales - scotland clash

Crolla-Rees looks like a very good fight on paper. The winner would have a good shout at fighting the winner of Murray-Mitchell. Could be a nice little British round-robin developing there.

Crolla and Murray surely would not fight each other though-Both trained by Joe Gallagher.

ah i see, they refered to him on sky as the undisputed british champion or something similar so i assumed he had defended several times.
