It wasn't me Mark, it was an imposter! Told Tarver had it wide, not sure about Ward. But Showtime poll 3 ringside journos after and I'm told they had Froch(y!) by 10 and 11 round margins, which seems excessive.

The consensus on a Septic forum that I frequent mirrors those scores; meself I was bricking it up until about the ninth/tenth, I seriously thought Froch was coming apart from bodyshots & right hands in those middle rounds. But then again, I'd just come home from a Meteors gig & was off my face, so...

I had Froch wining by 2 as Johnson faded in last 3 rounds.

The football terminology would be Frocho, I think. Frochy, dunno, just what I call him I spose. I'm not the only one, but hadn't really thought about it til now!
And the only TS presenter I don't lose is Danny Kelly, he's pretty knowledgeable

i imagine you, like me, used to tune into "UNDER THE MOON" on late night C4 in the 90's, Danny Kelly is a legend and a big sports nut. I quite like Talksport but what most presenters know about boxing you can write on the back of postage stamp with a big black marker pen. This is a shame as boxing can tap into the football fan base and through Talksport would be a good place to start, they need a weekly boxing show

Lisa Rodgers was in it? Yes a boxing show would be good.

Oh Gawd I'm having teenage masturbatory flashbacks now; they never seemed to pay her enough to afford a bra.
Ah, happy days.

Kelly does his research and he can throw you the odd curve ball now and again, which is good. But most of them give you three minutes to explain the history of boxing, which is hard work when you 'er' and 'um' as much as I do!
Wasn't there a ginger bloke on Under The Moon?
And TS should do a boxing show, it's a very football station but it has cricket and rugby shows so why not boxing? Sunday eve would be logical, wouldn't get in the way of their football coverage, could discuss the previous night's fights and set up the following wknd's fights.

Talk's top man (the boss, not a feckin DJ) has been offered the Sunday Boxing show idea six times in 2 years!
It's a No Brainer and would deliver Talk their highest podcast, fact.
Adios.

Total no brainer. They're done with the day's football by 7pm, they've tried rugby and cricket in that slot, I'm certain a boxing show would do better.

Why has the idea not been taken up?

Talk Sport makes me remember that Boxing is a minority sport. Even fishing gets it own show.

They should put it on and 3-5am on a Sunday moring, that way they could cover a big fight from the states live and also us boxing nerd could get it on a podcast.

Lisa Rogers. She was about 4 foot nothing and getting it from Anthony from the Royle family.
One of those headscratchers, like when Mick Hucknall (who was admittedly loaded) was seen stepping out with another Loaded fave, Kathy Lloyd.
Under the Moon was great, and that was before Sky +! I remember Gary Mason taking calls on it one night, including a question from me about something or other
