Jeff Fenech is to turn vigilante and dish out his own punishment on the attackers who left him nursing horrific facial injuries. The Australian fight legend was set upon by four men outside a Sydney restaurant on Sunday night after enjoying an evening meal with friends and family. Fenech was slashed across the face during the attack and now requires plastic surgery. But the former world champion is vowing to level the score with his assailants and doesn't care if it lands him in trouble.
Fenech told The Australian newspaper:
"I want justice. Not from the police or a judge. I want to get them on my own.
"After I punch the shit out of them, if they want to say sorry, I'll say sorry as well.
"The system hasn't done anything in the past ... and if it means I'm gonna get in trouble then it means I'm gonna get in trouble."

An Australian poster on the current scene forum says this of the attack: "i was at brighton le sands when the attack occured (yes,the attack was at brighton) which is only 5 minutes from where i live , but i did not get to see the incident,after fenech got attacked i saw everyone running to the scene and i saw fenech's bloody face and i have got to say i was disgracelful,even though i am not a big fan of jeff i got respect for him and the attack was a disgrace.the attackers are said to be 4 lebo's. these lebos are just worsening our name they are disgracing the lebanese community."

Has all the hall marks of a cowardly street attack. They out numbered him but still had to rely on weapons. True scum.

I hope the Marrickville Mauler gets an opportunity to settle the score.

It all sounds like it's getting a little messy to me. I didn't even realise Australia had a problem with the Lebanese? I always thought it was the Viatnamese? I'm confused...

the hussein boys are of lebanese origin so i thought as he trains them he would be quite respected by the community...

they will find out who did it though, no doubt. Fenech needs to be careful though... jails suck big time!!!!

From my credible sources, I hear that Fenech is involved in a little bit more than what most people know.

Fenech definately seems to be a "street guy"....

Fenech has always been a bit of a rough and tumble guy, nothing would surprise me.

He was eating a meal with his wife and kids, When he left the restraunt someone in a car said something to him and he went to the car to confront them a fight started which he was apparentley doing alright until being struck on side of the face with a broken beer bottle , The four men then sped away. A 20 year old male was arrested today and is cooperating with police.
We have problems in Australia with many minority groups , Vietnemese, Lebonese, Turks, Asians in general, They come to our country and don't try to except our way of life instead stay in groups and try to intimidate others.
These four will get there own back as Fenech has many underworld conections and they will probably get exactly what Fenech said in his article.

I wondered if there was more to how the fight started than has been said previously. Fenech is not one to walk away from anything. He's now saying he doesn't even want to cooperate with the police and won't even identify the 20-year-old. Some guys are too hard for their own good.

the thing i hate most about this sort of shit is how fuckin gutless it is.group bashings.are these popuar overseas because they seem to be damn popular here. new years eve a large group kicked the shit ut of 1 dude.problem for them(hopefully)is they got caught on home video.they only stopped when a woman jumped on top of the bloke tosave him.
