What are your thoughts? More or less than the McCloskey fight?

Also won't have the free build-up from Sky this time.

Fury v Chisora might be on the Uk leg of this but dont think that will increase sales as the general public wont get the build up like if the fight was on sky!

Do ppv channels release details of their sales then?
I dont need much of an excuse to give this one a miss though.

Sometimes. Primetime reckon they sold over 60k for Khan's last outing.

Fury vs Chisora not on sky?
Yeah added with that then this would be a great PPV.
Strange Sky aint making more of an effort to get Khan back considering there could be a good chance he'll be the only legit British World champion left by the end of this year and do something that no other British Boxer has ever done which is hold all 4 of the world Boxing belts WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO if he beats Bradley later in year.

This fight wont sell well even with Fury v chisora on bill. I doubt Degale v Groves with all the sky build up did 100k in buys. The Khan think they worth more than sky do.

I wont buy primetime full stop. I dont pay for HD channels to pay £15 for a lesser quality broadcast and commentary team on standard definition.
If im paying full price i expect HD otherwise once your watching it on a 42 inch telly you may aswel have streamed the the thing.
Shame because i wanted to see this fight and im a khan fan.

If it has Fury Chisora too, then this is a must buy, and will do well.
Without a primetime Fury-Chisora, no Sky build up and no Irish ppv buyers I think it will struggle.

So does anyone know what's going on with Fury vs Chisora, surely it won't be on sky ppv so any chance of regular sky sports?
Although i dislike ppv and obviously sky didn't want Khan vs Judah on their ppv platform just 3 weeks after their big blockbuster Haye vs Klitschko, it's funny how Warren was allowed to do Groves vs Degale/Cleverley vs unknown as a ppv rather then allow Khan vs McCloskey/Tyson Fury vs Kali Meehan as one.

Hennessy won the Fury bid so its likely to end up on Primetime or Premier sports, definately not Sky. The FW show was built entirely round DeGale-Groves and, while i do not know the numbers it did, i was at the O2 and it was absolutely packed out. It FELT like a big event, so i would not be suprised if it did well on the PPV as well.

This will not do well at all, the main buyers of the McCloskey fight were Irish i doubt it will do 50K buys and i won't buy it even if Fury/Chisora gets added to bill

The Irish did increase the last ppv sales. Fury v chisora a very good fight but it won't appeal to casual fans as the fight wont get the build up that it would on sky.

They would do well to do half the sales of last time round.
1. No Paddy purchases.
2. No SKY build up.
3. No battle over what channel it will be on - which perversely gained it more attention.
4. Inconvenient fight start time for UK viewers.

Is Fury vs Chisora also confirmed for Primetime on the same evening?
It would be going against the grain for Khan's backers to be willing to concede a lot of cash to put together a complete production such as that...... might not leave them all that much in the pot if the buyrate isn't all that cracking.
It's just another example of short sightedness/stupidity/greed (delete as you wish) from their camp.
There aren't any Khan fanboys on here are there?

Agreed. I don't see it selling well at all.
The silly start time will have people just watching it in the morning for free on the web.
I just don't see anybody buying these late shows nowadays. No critism of Khan or the good match-up.

Not confirmed speculated. But even with Fury v CHisora it still wont sell much more than last time.

When Fury vs Chisora was announced for being on the same day I was sceptical as to whether it would end up on Primetime..... because by all accounts Mick put in a pretty big bid to get the fight..... obviously there's venue, undercard and so on - all of which would come out of the pot.
I would piss myself laughing if Sky did a U-turn and got this
Then again, Primetime's costs will be lower as they aren't having to put the production together so there's more for everyone, if they get the buys.

How much is Khan willing to share is a question with Hennessy. As Team Khan think they are ppv on there own right!

I can see this falling apart and there being no UK leg. They aren't going to want to bankroll the UK leg and gamble on there being enough buys to give them a decent wedge.
Last time of course it was a straight one-off with a shit undercard.
His handlers are clueless, utterly clueless.

Sky have got a Darren Barker show that evening they could easily show the Hennessy bill too.
