I have just seen that Brian Magee is down to fight Jaime Barboza for the WBA Interim Super Middleweight Title. In Costa Rica of all places! Obviously the competitive loss to Bute has not hampered Magee's standing in the eyes of the WBA but how the light middleweight Barboza qualifies for this title shot I don't know. He is a former World Youth Light Middleweight champion, a championship that he won at the young age of 32!

This was posted last week,the WBA are a joke....Who is Barboza....

Magee has a history with fighters of that surname.

This was posted last week,the WBA are a joke....Who is Barboza....

These days I have less interest in the title & more interest in the people in the fight. I can honestly say that I have never heard of Barboza & can honestly say I have no interest in the World YouTitle so thats probably why. I bet when he won the title it was vacant!
These sactioning bodies are killing the game.
