Danny Williams it on the under card of Felix Sturm Matthew Macklin, he's in against Manuel Charr i dont know any thing about him he's 17(9)-0-0 going by his record he aint fought anyone but is an up and coming Live prospect, anyone know much about him? Williams chances?

I remember seeing that guy on Premier Sports, terrible style for an old over the hill Danny Williams. Constant aggression and throws punches on bunches without taking a backwards step, not a big hitter but accumilative effect should takes it toll on Danny with him getting stopped around the 4th imo

It looks like Charr struggled against Zack Page just as badly as (or maybe worse than?) Tom Dallas did, if that's any comfort. Charr only had 11 fights as an amateur, after initially starting out as a kick boxer.

He is more boxer puncher than slugger and likes to hold his hands high and catch incoming punches off his gloves. He has fast hands with a snappy jab and quick combinations. His power is just enough to keep his opponents honest and to hurt many of them. He has an aggressive style and throws lots of punches.

Stranger things have happened in boxing, if Haye does beat Wlad in July and then Vitali before retiring in October as he keeps telling us that leaves 4 World title Belts vacant and 8 Boxers needed to fight for them.

Just like Danny though to spring a victory and look great when the pressure's off even though by his own admission he's shot to pieces and should have retired a couple years ago.

Ya, Charr isn't anything special, but he is strong and his style is all wrong for this version of Williams. I would be shocked if Williams won.

Looks like Danny is going all Julius Francis on us.

As its Williams, a few years ago you could never really write him off against anybody as he always had a massive performance in him. However after seeing his horrendous state against Chisora, I fear for his safety if he keeps fighting and going in with these up and comers.

SKY seem to be short of presenters for their boxing shows

I completely understand why he is doing it and he has to earn a living but it was a bit shocking to see this man, who looked off balance before a punch was thrown, looking completely out of his depth against a relatively untested fighter in Chisora. It did make we wonder what a devastating puncher (which I don't think Del boy is) would do to him now. It's not the way I want to see his career end, after providing us with some of the most exciting moments I have seen over the years.

yeah his punch resistance seems to have left him, his legs do the spagetti walk when he's hit

One thing we can say about Danny Williams is that he has got a massive pair of balls that are writing cheques that his body in it's advancing years may not be able to cash as I fear sooner or later it is all going to catch up with him in an utterly horrible beating that leaves some very lasting consquences which will obviously tarnish the memory of the fighter we all love and respect.

Not sure you can throw everyones love around like that. But certainly respect him, and the beatings have already happened and I think there's atleast one more round the corner.

He doesn't have to be in amazing shape to be a personal trainer anyway as long as he is in alright shape and he has the knowledge there to call on he would be perefectly capable and like you said imagine being trained by the man that beat Tyson!

I thought that the bodyguarding that was mentioned when he "retired" would have been a thing that could have worked out for him he is a massive bloke and im sure lots of people would want protection form a guy that beat Mike Tyson its a good marketing point...
