I think the only time I ever seen Wimpy Halstead on tv was when he was a guest on the David Letterman show.
I wonder if his name ever subconsciously gave any of the judges of his fights,lower points on the scorecards?

Butterbean was good at bashing up blokes who'd never had a fight.

I remember when he came unstuck against Rose (a guy who did have a boxing background).

It was straight back to complete novices for Fat Eric.

He didn't beg, he asked for a line of credit. "I'll gladly pay you a quarter on Tuesday fir a hamburger today" is about what he'd say.

Seriously, early on Arum was talking about that freak event as though it may have happened someday.

I bought Holmes/Butterbean. Not my proudest moment.
