Just heard that Coveney beat Alex on points last night. Bit of a shocker. I saw a couple of Alex's fights up here when he was with the Hattons and he looked a real prospect.
Another scalp for Mickey. /up de 'ammers/
Hard Knocks Rox!

Coveney is Much Much better then his record stong as an Ox and can take a Good Shot Done Loads of rounds Sparring with him back 2004-7.... I see he beat Martin Ward and tought right away what was the weight difference, Coveneyhad nearly a stone

Coveney is a person that at the same weight is a hand full....

I knew he was better than he record because i seen him give Pajo Hyland a real good go before running out of gas, but I thought Alex would have too much class for him.
Alex is rusty and will be back no doubt about that, but a great scalp for Conveney.

Definately a big surprise, but Spencer matches them pretty tough on his bills. But what I have seen of Alex he will come again.
