Which is more impressive?

To use a recent example, Mayweather and Pacquiao both trounced Ricky Hatton. Floyd did it long, Pac did it quickly.

I actually think it's more impressive to dominate an opponent technically over the duration of a fight (especially with a late KO) than to blast someone out quickly.

Any other examples of a fighter who's lost badly in two different ways?

It's a case by case thing. Sometimes a guy technically dominates a guy and ends it with a big KO, kinda like what Gamboa did to Solis and what Martinez did to Dzinziruk recently.

When Martinez KO'd Williams it was amazing not just because it was one of the most violent KO's that can be achieved but because he set it up with punches that he had been landing repeatedly in the first fight and learned to take advantage of the opening more quickly and violently.

Gatti got violently bludgeoned in a brawl with Baldomir but had previously been given a total Boxing exhibition put on him by Mayweather two fight prior.
